Director of GMG Trust Company (SA) Proprietary Limited, he has been involved in the South African debt capital markets since the end of 2001 and has valuable experience and skills in project management, credit approval, collection, monitoring and control processes relating to a number of asset classes and types of transactions.

Mr Viljoen joined the Alexander Forbes Group in March 2003 as Financial Director of Investment Solutions. He was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer of AFEH in 2007. Before joining the Group he was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, specialising in Banking and the Capital Markets sector.
